Héctor Osorio, partner and economist of the consulting firm PKF Chile shares some recommendations for entrepreneurs to move towards sustainable models without compromising their finances. Interview by Diario EMOL.

• Advantages of sustainability for SMEs

According to Héctor Osorio, SMEs have unique advantages compared to larger companies, which allows them to implement sustainable practices in an agile and effective way. “SMEs, first and foremost, are businesses. They are companies that have comparative and, in some way, competitive advantages over larger companies. What are the great advantages of entrepreneurship that sometimes go unnoticed? Fundamentally, because they are made up of a limited number of people, the human relationships that can develop in them are especially value-creating,” says Osorio.
